I am Heather McKnight DNP, MSN, RN, NE-BC and have 13 years of extensive experience in higher education program/curriculum development, recruitment/retention, and innovation. I am fortunate to also have 19 years of experience in nursing; including education, acute care services, The Joint Commission Stroke program development, and Magnet® program development, among others. Program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement has been major areas of career focus in both the acute care setting as well as academia.

My goal with this blog is to share a transparent and real view of leadership including the challenges, wins, and the frequent solitude.
